Motorcycle Accidents in California
Motorcycle riding is a popular activity among many Californians. With more than 800,000 registered motorcycles, California is second only to New York in the number of riders on our state’s roadways. However, riders face serious risks each time they get on the road. Motorcycle accidents are notoriously dangerous and deadly as there is little protection from the impact of a crash. To make matters worse, the motorcyclist is often not at fault for the collision. In many cases, motorcycle accidents are caused by the actions of negligent drivers.
Among the most common reasons for motorcycle crashes are speeding, impairment, distraction, and failure to see or yield to an oncoming motorcycle. If you or a loved one have been impacted by a motorcycle accident in California, you should have a full understanding of your legal rights and options as soon as possible.
