Los Angeles, CA (April 15, 2024) – Police in Los Angeles responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday morning, April 15th. The crash happened around 5:20 a.m. on the 101 Freeway near Lankershim Boulevard.
According to a report from the scene, the accident involved a sanitation truck and multiple other cars. At least one person died as a result of their injuries. Several other victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Police and rescue officials closed the road while the crash was investigated. There is no information on the conditions of the other victims or whether any charges are expected to be filed. The northbound side of the freeway was down to one lane following the crash. Drivers were advised to find alternate routes of travel. No further information is available at this time.
