Lancaster, CA (May 1, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in Lancaster on Tuesday morning, April 30th. The crash took place around 7:20 a.m. on Highway 130 near 90th Street.
According to an official report, a 2005 Toyota was traveling southbound on 90th Street when it collided with a 2015 Freightliner that was traveling westbound on Highway 130. There is no information on any other events leading up to the collision. The driver of the Toyota died at the accident scene. Two juvenile passengers in the vehicle were transported to Northridge Hospital with serious injuries. The Freightliner driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center. No one involved in the accident was identified. At this time, an investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further information has been released.
